ABOUT ME

I am an evolutionary ecologist interested in evolutionary biology and ecology, behavioural ecology, functional morphology and organismal biology.

I was born in Oviedo, north Spain, and it was also there where I defended my PhD in 2011. Since then, I have been doing research in Sweden and Colombia. Currently, I am affiliated to Uppsala University.

Some of my passions, apart from science, are nature, hiking, insect watching, travelling, and cinema.
